You only need this if you require biometric device communication to be exclusively done with your server, without involving the CAMS data server. It is also necessary if you wish to run your biometric system in a local environment without using the internet.

The installation of this engine does not affect API activation or license costs; they remain the same as usual. Once installed, the engine cannot be transferred, and it should remain running on the same server at all times.
